The free open-source software includes Aelira's scanning and remediation engine. Paid plans add support, managed infrastructure, tenant administration, reporting, and integrations as listed for each offer. Compute-backed plans use defined Processing Unit, storage, and service allowances; your order form records the exact scope.

Self-hosted and bring-your-own-cloud plans run in infrastructure you control. You own the hardware or cloud bill and normal platform operations; Aelira provides the contracted software support and deployment services. Aelira cloud plans include managed application and inference infrastructure in the contracted region. Pooled, dedicated, and high-availability offers provide different levels of capacity isolation and availability.

With self-hosting or BYOC, your institution buys and operates the compute, storage, networking, backup, and monitoring. Aelira cloud prices include those direct costs and the capacity reserved for your service. Dedicated and high-availability cloud cost more because they reserve isolated GPU capacity instead of sharing a pool.

Yes! You can upgrade from self-hosted to cloud at any time. We'll help migrate your data and configuration. You can also downgrade from cloud to self-hosted (though you'll need to provide infrastructure). Contact [email protected] for migration assistance.

Institution plans replace per-department multiplication with one tenant and a defined workload allowance. We size the Processing Unit, storage, integration, support, and availability requirements during discovery, then record the price and any approved expansion blocks in the order form.

A pilot is a bounded evaluation with a frozen corpus, agreed success criteria, and a written data-handling path. The current higher-education pilot runs for six weeks at no software charge. Any infrastructure work, continuation price, case study, or extension is stated in writing; Temple or any other institution determines its own review and purchase-order requirements.

The April 26, 2027 deadline creates urgency, but accessibility compliance is an ongoing requirement. (The original April 24, 2026 date was extended one year under the DOJ Interim Final Rule published April 20, 2026; the rule's substance is unchanged.) After the deadline, universities will continue to need our platform for: 1) New content creation (scan before publishing), 2) Ongoing audits (DOJ can audit at any time), 3) Course updates (every semester). We're building Aelira as a long-term solution, not a one-time fix.

Yes. Annual prepayment is priced at 11.25 times the monthly service fee, a 6.25% discount. Implementation, usage expansion, taxes, and third-party services are excluded. The signed order form controls renewal, price protection, and any service-specific terms.

Faculty subscriptions can be cancelled before the next billing period. Department and institution terms, including termination, transition assistance, data export, and deletion, are set in the signed order form. The six-week pilot can end without a production subscription.
