Product overview · Higher education
Aelira is an open-core accessibility platform for higher education. It helps teams inspect content, review supported partial fixes and AI suggestions, and make informed publication decisions against their applicable institutional obligations.
Start with a bounded set of real files and verify each result before use.
Inspect PDFs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. Supported issues may yield partial fixes or AI suggestions for a person to review; some files yield no remediated output.
Review LaTeX and MathML artifacts. Web and code scans help identify issues for investigation and follow-up testing.
Examine diagnostic reports, validate output, and test the publication path in your own environment. Reports do not certify accessibility or legal compliance.
Connector code and a working deployment are different milestones. Institutions should test authentication, permissions, data flow, and publication in their own environment.

The AGPL open core can be self-hosted without a software fee. Hosted beta access is intended for adult faculty, staff, and institutional administrators. Review provider, region, retention, and outbound request settings with your institution before using real content. Local inference applies only when configured.
